Generally, we invest a lot of time and we even take professional advise while choosing the first two but I have noticed that people while buying their dream home tend to take hasty decisions, which can be very painful later.

Here are a few tips to guide you to purchase your dream home and below are the six most important points to follow before purchasing your dream home;

  1. Location of the Project.
  2. Surrounding and view from the apartment.
  3. Commuting – distance from your daily needs like the railway station, metro, highways, School, Mall, Hospital, Market, workplace, etc.
  4. Layout and open space – structure of the building, plan, parking space.
  5. Title of the project – RERA registered.
  6. Brand name of the Developer.

Give 10 points to each of the above category and find the total rating out of 60 points.  If the total is more than 45, proceed with your purchase.  Your property will be guaranteed to appreciate, whenever you want to sell it in future.

The most significant thing about the above six important points is that, you cannot change them once you have purchased the flat.  So, the more you focus on finding the best by keeping the above 6 points in mind, you will always get the best value of it.

There are 3 ways you can identify your dream home;

  1. If you have enough time in hand, you can check the details in social media platforms, like portals of Real Estate, if you are looking for Resale Properties.
  2. Invest your time to check for Developer’s Projects on the RERA website, if you are looking for New Projects. But, as there are many projects on the RERA website, it may not be easy to choose and hence it will be a difficult task to find the right project.
  3. You may seek advice from selected local brokers who are RERA Registered, who can assist you in finding your dream home, which will help you save your valuable time.
